In the golden Hour
Hallo ihr Lieben,
heute möchte ich euch noch ein paar schöne kulturelle Seiten von Augsburg zeigen.
Insgesamt ist es eine kleine Stadt. Der Stadtkern ist aber wie in vielen bayrischen Städten klassisch und historisch aber das Rathaus ist etwas moderner. Wie vieles in der Region wurde auch diese Stadt im zweiten Weltkrieg zerstört und danach wieder aufgebaut.
Das besondere am Rathaus ist der goldene Saal im Obergeschoss, der heute für Trauungen und andere feierliche Anlässe genutzt wird.
Die Decke und die Portale sind großzügig mit Gold verkleidet, welches zur Stabilisierung an der Decke verankert wurde.
Man ist wirklich beeindruckt, von dem ganzen Gold, jedoch erschlägt es einen nicht :-)

today i want to show you some cultural pictures of Augsburg, where I have been lately, as i told you last week.
The town is really small but like most of the other bavarian cities the city center is really historic and classic. The town hall is a bit more modern but the whole city was destroyed in the second world war.
What´s special in the town hall is the Golden Hall in the top floor, which is used today for wedding ceremonies and other events.
The ceiling is full of golden and also the big doors are decorated with it.
It´s just overwhelming but not overloaded :-) Below you can see the pictures. :-)
