I want it that way

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute erzähle ich euch von einem der beeindruckendsten Konzerte, dass ich in meinem Leben je erlebt habe. Als kleines Kind hatte sicher jeder von uns eine Band, die damals total angesagt war, und zu der man „irgendwann mal gehen wollte“. Bei mir waren das die Backstreet Boys und bis letztes Jahr hätte ich nie daran geglaubt, dass sich überhaupt jemals die Gelegenheit bieten würde, sie live zu sehen. Als dann aber die Tour zu ihrem neuen Album „DNA“ angekündigt wurde, konnten eine Freundin und ich uns die Gelegenheit nicht entgehen lassen Karten zu kaufen.

Das Konzert ging circa 2 Stunden, was schon eine enorme Leistung ist, wenn man bedenkt, dass die Bandmitglieder alle über 40 sind und zu jedem Lied boybandtypische Tanzeinlagen boten, was durchaus Kondition erfordert.

Da Nick ganz euphorisch am Ende verkündete, dass er uns deutsche Fans alle liebt und sich schon auf das nächste Mal freut, haben wir bereits beschlossen, dass dies definitiv nicht unser letztes BSB Konzert gewesen sein wird und wir beim nächsten Mal Karten kaufen werden, bei denen wir näher an der Bühne dran sind. Genug Zeit zum Sparen haben wir ja vermutlich erstmal 😉

Da ich leider meine Kamera nicht mit in die Mercedes-Benz-Arena nehmen durfte, seht ihr nun unten ein paar Fotos und etliche Videos, die wir mit den Handys gemacht haben. Aber dabei sein ist ja bekanntlich schon alles 😉 Nächste Woche geht es musikalisch weiter, nun erst einmal viel Spaß beim Anschauen 😊

today I´m telling you about one of the most exciting concerts I´ve ever been to. We all know a band we loved when we were Kids and we always wanted to see them once we´re old enough. For me, this were the Backstreet Boys and until last year I never thought that I would ever have the chance to see them live. When they finally released the tour dates for their „DNA World Tour“, a friend of me and I could not resist but buy some tickets.

The concert lasted around 2 hours which I think is really impressive due to the fact that all of the bandmembers are older than 40 years and performed a typical boyband choreo to every song, which requires good condition.

As Nick was really euphoric when he said at the end of the concert that he loves the german fans so much and he cannot wait to be back soon, we decided that this will not be our last concert of the Backstreet Boys. For the next time we want to go for tickets which are closer to the stage and I think we will have some time now to save money for this 😊

Unfortunately I was not allowed to take my camera with me inside the dome thats why I show you few pictures and more videos that we took with our smartphones. Next week there will be another music post, but for now have fun watching the photos and videos 😊
