Metropole des Südens
Hallo ihr Lieben,
heute möchte ich euch von meinem ersten Tagesausflug innerhalb meines Urlaubes erzählen, dieser ging in die Landeshauptstadt von Andalusien, nach Sevilla. In der 700.00 Einwohner Stadt war es nicht nur sehr heiß (35 Grad), sondern auch sehr voll, es gab überall lange Schlangen und ich war einmal mehr froh, dass ich die Stadt bereits vor 2 Jahren besucht hatte.
Letztlich habe ich dennoch ein neues Highlight besichtigt, den Metropol Parasol. Dieses riesige Gebilde soll Bienenwaben darstellen, für mich hat es eher etwas von Holz oder einer knochenartigen Struktur. Nichtsdestotrotz ist es faszinierend, vorallem weil man es von oben begehen kann und dort einen wunderschönen Ausblick über Sevilla hat.
Anschließend bin ich von dort in das Stadzentrum gelaufen, um die Kathedrale zu sehen, und in dem äußeren Teil der Reales Alcazares eine kleine Pause zu machen. Anschließend bin ich zum Plaza de Espana und von dort am Guadalquivir entlang zum Torre del Oro zurück.

today I want to tell you about my first daytrip within my vacation, to the capital of Andalucia, to Seville. In the 700.000 inhabitants City it was not only hot (35 Degrees) but also really crowded, there where queues at so many sights. That´s why I was really happy that I visited the most of these sights 2 years ago.
At least I visited a new sight, the Metropol Parasol. It is meant to be shaped like honey combs, but for me it was more like wood or bones, neithertheless it was really awesome to see and more awesome from the top, where you have a nice view over the city of Seville.
Next I walked to the city centre, where I saw the Cathedral, had a break in the outer area of the Reales Alcazares Garden and onto the Plaza de Espana, from where I went to the bank of the river Guadalquivir to the Torre del Oro, where my route had ended.
